"Slip Slops"

I bought Kaylan some flip flops the other day, however, she calls them "slip slops." I thought that was pretty cute. In talking to my sister in law, Emily, her little boy calls them "blip blops." Flip flops, slip slops, or blip blops; either way they're super cute on little kids. I got these ones at Old Navy.

Oh, Kenslee

A conversation with Kenslee in the car the other day.

Kenslee: Mom, guess what Dad said?

Me: What?

Kenslee: He said that we could get a trampoline in the summer time.

Me: Oh, he did, huh?

Kenslee: Yeah. I was like, freaking out when he said that!

Kaylan: (being the parrot that she is): Yeah, mom. Feeking out.

Hello! She's only 5 years old and she's already talking like a teenager!

The Hills Are Alive......

Ok, I know these kind of shows are just so lame but I just cannot help myself. They have sucked me in every single season! And guess what? My hubby gets sucked in too! We make it a weekly movie night--just the two of us. We are so lame!
The first episode of this season came on last night. Thank goodness for DVR! I am so mad at Lauren! She was really making me mad. Come on girl, you were very irresponsible with the dress you were given. I don't think they should have given you another one. You should have had to pay for it!
And Spencer. Oh me oh my. Get a life buddy! He is such an idiot and Heidi is an ever bigger idiot for liking that retard.
Can't wait for the rest to come. They teased us with a few scenes for the upcoming season. All I have to say is juicy, juicy, juicy!

Easter

We took the ma'ams to an Easter egg hunt here at one of the parks. They had a lot of fun. I feel a little bad though because Kaylan really got the short end of the stick. We didn't get any pictures of her "hunting" for eggs. Tony had her and I had Kenslee. They had the kids all separated by age groups. So sorry Buggy!

Kenslee and her friend Linsey. Everybody thinks they're sisters!

H&M Gossip?

Are you even kidding me? I'm about to jump right out of my chair! I came across some great gossip! Rumor has it that there is going to be an H&M store coming to Utah! WOWZA! More juicy talk about this and other things to come here!

Easter Cupcakes

How cute are these? Found them here.

Fun In The Sun

So Tired

Kaylan had not taken a nap today and was super tired. I had given her a bath. Her and Kenslee have a little routine after they get out. They have me wrap them up tight with their towel and then I go over to the fireplace and flip the switch to turn it on. They love to get warmed up by the fireplace.
Well, this happened today and while she was cuddling up to the fireplace, I decided to go downstairs and check my e-mail. It had been about 10 minutes and I couldn't hear anything. Tony and Kenslee were watching a movie downstairs and I called for Kaylan. There was no answer. I told Tony that I better go check on her because it was too quiet--every parent gets a little worried when this happens. I went upstairs and this is what I found:

For The Love!

Ok, When Tony and I were dating we vowed to each other that we would never let our children watch Barney. He is so annoying and, well, I won't say. Our promise to each other did not last long after we had Kenslee and she started talking. She absolutely fell in love with this purple giant! That was all she watched for a long time. Again, we vowed that we would not let our future children watch this silly show. Well, guess who loves Barney? Yeap, Kaylan! Where did she see this? It's not like we watch Barney together as a family. In fact, it's been a nice 3 year break! But, sometimes as a parent you will do almost ANYTHING to get them to be quiet. Yes, I am guilty. I give in and turn on the purple dinosaur that she so loves. I also thought that before I had children I wouldn't let the television be a babysitter. Well, I too, am guilty of that sometimes. Oh well, what do ya do?

Mountain Bike

I'm wanting to get me a bike. I've just been using my husband's bike for now so I think it's time I get my own. I've been looking at a few and so far I think I like this little beauty. We'll see....
Still keeping my options open.

Sew, Sew, Sewin' Along

My cute friend, Jaime, asked me to make her 4 little girls these bags for Easter. I think they turned out pretty cute. What do you think? I hope you like them Jaime! Happy Easter!

Rocky Road Shake!!!

Holy Cow! Nothing tickles my fancy more than a good old Rocky Road shake from Baskin Robbins! I LOVE chocolate. Mmmmmmmmmm. I'm not a huge fan of shakes but for some reason I have rediscovered Baskin Robbins. And no, I'm not pregnant!
