Personalize Your Coloring Book

What a fun idea! I might have to get this for the girls. They would absolutely eat this up! In fact, I just might get myself one!

Pictures

Kaylan's ALWAYS up for a picture. And who can turn this gorgeous face down?

Proud Mama

I'm such a proud Mama today! My little Kenslee gave her first talk today at church. And for those of you who know my precious Ma'am knows that she is not one to get up in front of people. In fact, the last talk she attempted to do one it did not go well. She buried her face in my shoulder. So I gave her talk. Last week when she was asked if she would give a talk she started to cry. She wanted to write it right when we got home and she didn't want it to be long. In fact, she had to count how many lines it was just to make sure it wasn't a novel! Her topic was "The Temple Brings Blessings to me and my Family."
So with a lot of coaxing and practice all week, she did PERFECT. I helped her but at least this time she faced the audience and spoke. I couldn't have been more proud. I gave her the biggest hug and kiss when she was done! And of course Daddy was there watching his little angel.

New Best Friends

The Infamous Neti Pot. I first saw this when Dr. Oz was on Oprah. I thought it looked silly and I was a little skeptical about it. But when you're sick and only need to feel a little bit worse to die, I'm willing to try anything! And man oh man has this been my lifesaver the past few days. I have been sniffling, coughing, and sneezing like crazy. This clears your sinuses up like nobody's business! I have not been feeling so hot but I think I'm finally getting over whatever it is I have. Yay.

And my other best friend these days.............WAX for my braces. Wow, has this been a lifesaver for my cheeks! My cheeks and lips sure can take a good beating if I don't have this precious stuff on there.

Sound Asleep

Last night Tony was watching TV on the couch and Buggy grabbed her blanket and climbed up next to him and said, "I watch TV next to my daddy." Not 10 minutes later, she was sound asleep. So precious. This is a rarity at our home so I had to capture the moment!

A Daily Scoop of Inspiration

I just have to share this blog with you. I have absolutely no idea who this lady is but wow, is she amazing. Their sweet little baby girl who was 1 drown and passed away to live with our Heavenly Father on the other side. Her mommy is such an inspiration to me to be a better and more loving, patient mommy. Every time I read her blog, I not only cry but I leave it feeling like I can never show enough love for my little ones.
I hope she doesn't mind that I linked her on my blog. Enjoy her beautiful, elegant words. Although they may make you cry, I guarantee you will want to be the best mom in the whole world.

Just a piece of what she has on her blog from today:

"Take a minute for me tonight and record the little things your kids do right now. They don't even need to be cute things. Someday when your baby is grown you may even miss the food thrown on the ground or the face wiped on the sleeve. Cherish the little things. For the little things are the spice in life."

A Daily Scoop

Congrats Lil' Sis

Well, now that the cat is OFFICIALLY OUT OF THE BAG........ Congrats to my sister, Tati, who is expecting her first little one. She is just behind me by about 3.5 weeks! Yay! We had to keep it quiet until her inlaws came back from Ghana, West AFrica. We've known for quite some time now. It's hard keeping a secret. Especially when I like to blog about EVERYTHING.
And a big Congrats to her hubby, Matt, who was just offered a job as a teacher/coach in Tooele! I'm so glad they aren't moving out of state! At least for now. Yippity Yay!

Yay for Grass!

Well, today was one of the most exciting days of this year! We got our grass put in! I can't even tell you h0w happy we were. We had a lot of help from Tony's brother's, Chris and Quinn, and we also had some great neighbors come over and help! Thanks guys!! They started bright and early this morning at 7:00 and were finished laying sod around 9:30.

Hmm. Looks who got to the doughnuts first!

Kenslee

The other day I took the girls to Mccydee's to get some chicken nuggets. As I pulled up to pay, Kenslee belts out, "Mom, is that a boy or a girl?" Even though that was an excellent question (I couldn't tell myself) I wanted to die. I gave he or she the money and said, "Keep the change." I couldn't give them the money fast enough and pulled up to grab the food. I was a little embarrassed. Me oh my. Ya just never know what is going to come out of their little mouths!

Yeap, We Have Another Goat

Well, we have another goat. This time it's a Billie and boy is he UHHHHHHGLEEE! Whewee! He has these massive horns on the top of his head. From the picture you can't really tell how big they are. His goatee is about 12 inches too. He is also behind Tony's work with the other goat "mowing the weeds." So far they are doing pretty good. They still have a lot of "mowing" to do though. Every time we go check on him, he runs right by the central air. He must like it here.

Manicures at the Ranch?

Who can't live without getting their nails done? Apparently my little ones. They were pretty spoiled by Aly's daughter, Heather. She was so nice to take the time and paint their finger nails and their toe nails.

There ya go. Give your nails a good blow! Get 'em dry girlfriend. Or is she being "Dr. Evil?"

Looking For Something To Shoot

I love this picture. Aly's husband, Ron, would sit here at the ranch and watch for crow's to come. I only heard the gun go off one time. I was quite surprised actually.

Oh, Kaylan

Kaylan is probably the most honest little girl I know. If she wets her pants, she comes in and says in her cute girl voice, "Ummm, Mommy, I peed my panties. I go to timeout k?"

The other day there was a booger wiped on the wall. Yeah, the ol' booger on the wall trick. It was about her heighth and I asked in a firm voice, "Who wiped this moco (booger in spanish) here on the wall."
Kaylan quietly came over, studied it for a few seconds and then in a frank voice said, "Ummmm.....yeap, that's mine mommy." Interesting! I gave her a wet rag and had her clean it up.

Funny Girl

Kenslee: "Mom, do I get to have braces when I'm a kid or when I'm human like you?"

{Interesting...I wasn't aware that she wasn't human!}
