Clinton Days 2010

Although we don't live in Clinton City it's not very far away so we decided to go and watch fireworks.  It was really fun.  Owen didn't care for them much so he grabbed Uncle Drake's hat and covered his face with it and wouldn't go to anybody but Drake.  He buried his little face in his arms and fell right to sleep.  It was so cute.

Dog Sitter

Kenslee has been having so much fun dog sitting for our neighbors.  They have a labradoodle named Oakley and he is the cutest and well behaved little doggy.

p.s. That cute little girl with Kenslee is her other best friend, Emily.

Mmmmmm

I have seen this recipe EVERYWHERE out there in the blogosphere.  I decided to try it and Oh. My. Yummo!
And super easy to make too.
My kinda baking. ;)

Recipe:

1 roll of pre made sugar cookie dough
1 8oz. package cream cheese
1 cup marshmallow cream
1/2 cup blueberries
2 cups strawberries

Spread the cookie dough in a 9x13 inch baking dish.  Bake until it is light brown and then let it cool.  Mix the cream cheese and marshmallow cream until smooth.  Spread on top of the cookie dough.  Then make your flag!

So Long First Grade

Kenslee and Mrs. Pectol.  What a great teacher.
We are going to miss her like CRAZY!

But we're sure excited to see what 2nd grade has to bring!
p.s.  Did you notice the necklace Mrs. Pectol is wearing? ;)

Washer Necklaces

Today is Kenslee's last day of school so of course we had to make the best teacher in the whole world a present!  Mrs. Pectol, Kenslee's teacher, is one very classy lady and Kenslee is always telling me what she wears on a regular basis.
Mrs. Pectol LOVES jewelry so we decided to make her some washer necklaces.  They turned out pretty cute and they're so super dee duper easy to make.
Check out my other blog for a tutorial on them!

BOONDOCKS ROCKS!

Tony's work has a summer party every year and this time it was at Boondocks.  That place is so much fun!  I had never been there before! What a fun way to spend the day!

We did a little golfing....

A little bit of bumper boats........

And of course we did some laser tag!

Yes, we are missing Owen.  We sent him to Grandma Rydman's house because he couldn't ride anything.
We did have him for some of the time though.
