Owen is 2

My sweet little boy turned two on November 12th!  I cannot believe it.  He is such a sweet little boy.  He loves, loves, LOVES trucks and cars.  In fact whenever he sees a tanker on the freeway he says, "Mom!  A tanker!"  He knows his trucks. :)  He talks great and it is so nice to know what he wants.  He is such a mama's boy and loves to go bye-bye with me.  If he doesn't get to go, it's a very sad moment for him.  I am so glad this little boy made it into our family.  He has been such a joy to have and I love him more than anything.  He's my little sir.

Happy Birthday little man.

Thanksgiving 2010

This year Thanksgiving wasn't so fun for me.  I woke up with a stomach ache and eventually throwing up.  Blech!  I know!  On Thanksgiving of all days! :(
Somehow I managed to handle the drive down to my parents' house, bucket in hand.  I spent most of my Thanksgiving laying on the couch trying not to throw up.
We headed over to my in-laws a few hours after my parents' and I again spent the whole time on the bed.  Needless to say, I am thankful for many things.  I am thankful for my great parents and siblings.  I'm grateful for an amazing husband and wonderful children.  I am also grateful for my wonderful in-laws.  They are amazing people.
Hopefully next year I won't be spending my Thanksgiving laying down feeling yucky.

Happy Birthday Kenslee!

My precious little girl turned 8 years old on October 11.  I can't believe it.  She's such a good kid.  I'm very lucky to have such a sweetheart for a daughter.  Things I love about her are:

-She's such a good big sister.  She is such a mother when it comes to her brother and sister.
-She's a very determined little thing.  When she has her mind set to something, she does it.
-She is so good at school.  In fact, her teacher says she is way beyond where she should be and recommended that we look into putting her into a different school where the kids are more advanced.
-She is nice to everybody.  There isn't one person that she doesn't include.  She finds the good in everyone.
-She's very mature for her age.
-She loves to dance.  Hmm.  I don't know where she gets that one from! :)  I can always count on her to turn up the tunes with me in the car.
-She's extremely organized.  She puts everything in its place and she knows if somebody has messed with it.  She even plans her own birthday parties.  She's done that the past two years.  It's great for Mom and Dad!
