My parents decided to build a home just a few miles from us here in Syracuse:) It's a gorgeous home and I'm so happy for them! They deserve it and it's fun to have them close again. The kids are in heaven!
I have never done a giveaway on my blog before and I'm excited to announce that I finally am! Be sure you don't miss it. You will not be disappointed! I'll give you a hint: It will be something from Younique Products!
More details to come next week:)
We are in the process of moving kids around to make room for the baby. We are finishing room for Kenslee downstairs and she couldn't be more excited. I found this desk on KSL Classifieds for $20 and decided to refinish it. Kenslee is into zebra print so this is what I came up with.
Kenslee entered a coloring contest at one of the local restaurants here in Syracuse. Well, she WON! She won a $25 gift card for the restaurant. She was sooooo excited.
Like her makeup? Yeah, pretty interesting:) She loves playing with makeup nowadays....
The kids sure had a fun Halloween this year. They got some great uses out of their costumes. We had a couple of trunk or treats and then Halloween night.
Kenslee was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz
Kaylan was Katy Perry
Owen was a race car driver.
Tony took Kaylan and Owen around trick or treating with our next door neighbors. When they got back I asked Owen if I could see how much candy he had. He showed me his bucket and literally only had 5 pieces of candy. When I asked him where all of his candy was he told me that he was too scared to go up to the doors! I couldn't believe it. He sat in the stroller almost the entire time. There was a house giving out hot dogs though so he got out there of course.
Kenslee went out with her friends and came home with a huge bag full of candy. She has some great friends. I'm glad she had a fun time.
We have decided to have a friends birthday party every other year and a family one on the other years. It just gets too expensive having friends birthday parties. The kids were fine with this and Kenslee decided she wanted all of her family to come to Classic Fun Center. They had a blast playing on the bounce house, riding their scooters, and playing arcade games. Our kids sure slept great that night!
Last week the girls and I had a girls day. Tony and Owen went to my inlaws to chop down some trees. I decided to take the girls out and have some fun. We went to Farmington Station where Radio Disney was doing a fun Halloween kids fair for free. The girls did games and got a free pumpkin. After that we went to one of my favorite places to eat.............ZUPA's! I love that place. After lunch we went to the mall and were surprised to find one of the local cosmetology schools doing free nails, face paint, and hair. So the girls had a fun time getting their hair sprayed different colors, getting their nails done, and getting a picture on their face. It was a fun day!
